2013 Back to Arkansas May 22-28
We met in Talihina, Oklahoma and visited the Alley Bar for dinner and a cold one. Dad's new bike -- a 2001 BMW R1100RS is the beautiful red bike in the middle.
Breakfast at the Hateful Hussy cafe downtown started Day 2. We rode the Talimena Scenic Drive to get into Arkansas.
We rode SW Arkansas and again up to Oark and on to Clarksville.
After dinner, I rode out of town on a hillside to capture the sunset on camera.
The next day, we made our way through country we had ridden before, including the White River north of Norfork, and Push Mountain Road.
We settled in at Mountain View for a couple of days. We enjoyed folk music and great riding.
Heading towards home, we went through Sand Gap and some memorable sights.
Another fine adventure with my dad and brother!
